《저장된 실제》는 춤–공연의 관람 방식에 대한 질문에서 출발하여 공연 형식의 현장성과 일시성을 실험한 작업이다. 이 작품은 세 개의 퍼포먼스와 한 편의 영상으로 이루어져 있다. 현장에 모인 관객은 스튜디오를 이동하면서 임의적인 순서로 각각의 퍼포먼스를 관람하고, 집으로 돌아가는 길에 공연의 이미지들로 구성된 한 편의 영상을 핸드폰으로 전달받는다. 여기에서 공연을 본다는 것은 무엇을 의미하는가? 감각과 상상은 하나의 경험 안에서 어떻게 만나는가? 이미지의 재생(play)과 복원(restore)이라는 순환 고리 안에서 공연의 경계는 모호해진다.
Stored Reality begins with questions about the viewing of dance performances and experiments with the immediacy and ephemerality of the form. This work consists of three performances and one video. Audience members move between studios to view each of the performances in a random sequence, and on their way home, they receive a video composed of images from the performance on their mobile phones. What does it mean to watch a performance? How do sensations and imagination meet within a single experience? Within the cyclic loop of play and restoration of images, the boundaries of the performance become ambiguous.
